As a community member, if you believe in the accomplishments of Philadelphia Black Gay Pride (PBGP) over the past 12 years, now more than ever, given the current political climate and the state of the economy, a call to action is needed in order to carry out this great tradition.

PBGP has truly been a celebration of all that is beautiful and diverse in our community. Philadelphia has set the standard for Pride events that others now strive to achieve.

However, like many historically African-American gay and lesbian organizations, PBGP is facing challenges raising the vital funds needed to operate this year’s celebration. We are faced with the important task of raising $10,000 in order to maintain the festival, due to lack of sponsorship and escalating costs, we’ve found ourselves with a deficit.

We need your help in raising the necessary dollars to continue this worthwhile, historic celebration. Your donation will greatly help to offset this year’s current deficit and all donations are 100% tax deductible.

On behalf of Philly’s proud LGBTQ community, Philadelphia Black Gay Pride’s Board of Directors is honored to invite you to be a part of our Annual Pride Celebration.

We would like to offer you the opportunity to be a part of this exceptional annual event. Partnering with Philadelphia Black Gay Pride Pride (PBGP) will provide a great marketing prospect for your company. In addition to the exciting and unusual performances, there will be a large spectator presence and on-site media attention. This is a great chance for your company to gain a positive association with an entertaining, educational and community based event that promotes overall participation and diversity. The event will attract an estimated 9,000-15,000 spectator over the course of the 8 day event.

Your support of PBGP through monetary contributions and in-kind donations will directly benefit thousands of individuals and demonstrate your continued dedication to the community. As a 501 (c) (3) organization, all donations to PBGP are tax deductible in accordance with IRS Regulations.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to showcase your company’s merchandise with a promotional display. We are offering your business the opportunity to market your products/services to the public for the duration of the Pride event to approximately 15,000 diverse individuals. We would also like to have your company banner on display as a supporter of our annual Philadelphia Black Gay Pride Celebration.
