The Gay and Lesbian Latino AIDS Education Initiative (GALAEI)

GALAEI is a non-profit organization devoted to addressing issues that affect Philadelphia's Latino, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities and promotes accountability from all systems that serve them, through education, representation, and advocacy. International Federation of Black Prides (I.F.B.P.)

The IFBP is a coalition of Black Pride organizers formed to promote a multinational network of LGBT/Same Gender Loving Pride and community-based organizations dedicated to building solidarity, promoting unity, and ensuring the development of education, economic empowerment, and individual and collective work. The IFBP was organized during DC Black Pride of May 1999 by a coalition of Black Pride organizers representing Chicago, North Carolina, New York, Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis (Twin Cities), and Washington, DC. The organizers saw a need to organize the twenty plus Black Prides in the United States and abroad to network, develop sponsorship strategies, provide technical assistance, mentor and support one another. In November 2000, the original seven cities plus LA at the Beach and Jacksonville formalized the International Federation of Black Prides and has adopted bylaws, elected officers and have started the process of applying to the IRS non profit status. In April 2001, the IFBP extended invitations to the other remaining Black Prides as the organization prepares for its first Annual Meeting under the new bylaws. IFBP has produced the first ever brochure listing all of the 2001 Black Prides in the United States. Since 2002, the IFBP expanded its membership to include Baltimore, Boston, Memphis, St. Louis, Kansas City, MO, Philadelphia, South Africa, Nashville and Charlotte. Founded in 1979, Mazzoni Center is the oldest healthcare provider in the Philadelphia region specifically targeting the unique needs of LGBT communities. Operating with the mission "to provide quality comprehensive health and wellness services in an LGBT-focused environment while preserving the dignity and improving the quality of lives of individuals we serve," Mazzoni Center offers a full continuum of services including primary medical care, mental health counseling and substance abuse treatment, legal services, and HIV-related prevention and care services. This grassroots organization based in Philadelphia, PA was founded in 2006 and remains dedicated in its efforts to uplift people of color along the transmasculine spectrum. TMAN, the first ever organization of its kind, provides extensive networking and referral services that address the unique and underrepresented vocational, educational, legal, social, familial as well as mental and general health care needs of its members through weekly gatherings, special events and directed activities. Men of All Colors Together – Philadelphia (MACT)

Men of All Colors Together-Philadelphia (MACT-Philadelphia)is a gay, multiracial and multicultural organization committed to equality, diversity and justice in humankind through social, educational and other means to support the LGBTQAI communities.

The Attic Youth Center

The Attic Youth Center creates opportunities for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth to develop into healthy, independent, civic-minded adults within a safe and supportive community, and promotes the acceptance of LGBTQ in society.

The Attic Youth Center is Philadelphia's only agency exclusively serving LGBTQ youth. Currently, The Attic offers the following programs and services:

The Life Skills Center provides individual and group programming in five concentration areas: job readiness, academic and educational enrichment, health and wellness, youth leadership, and arts and culture. Group activities include art, creative writing, tutoring, cooking and nutrition, career development, study hall, community engagement and leadership development. Individual services include life coaching and mentoring;

Supportive Services, including mental health counseling for individuals and families; case management, HIV prevention programming, and support groups;

The Bryson Institute of The Attic Youth Center provides training and workshops on best practices in meeting the needs of LGBTQ youth in schools, social service agencies, faith communities, families, and neighborhoods.
